| Applied Trust Schwag Brag Contest |
|
At Applied Trust, we’re often known as the company with the cool outdoorsy schwag. Has your Applied Trust schwag traveled to exciting and unique places with you, or does it otherwise have an interesting story to tell? If so, we’d love to hear about it! We will be featuring a different story with each upcoming issue, so send your “schwag brag” ideas (with photos) to schwagbrag@ atrust.com. Whoever submits the most outrageous story and photo between now and December 31, 2008 wins a 3-day trip for two to beautiful Cozumel, Mexico. Our featured schwag brag for this issue comes from Evi Nemeth, co-author of the highly successful Unix System Administration Handbook and Linux Administration Handbook. Since retiring from her faculty position in the Computer Science department at CU-Boulder, she has been sailing around the world and visiting countless beautiful places. Her Applied Trust courier bag and 5th anniversary commemorative Nalgene bottle accompanied her on her recent travels to the Machu Picchu region of Peru. Here is a photo of her bag and water bottle atop Mt. Salkantay which, at 20,574 ft., is the highest peak in the Cordillera Vilcabamba area of the Peruvian Andes and the 12th highest peak in all of Peru. ![]() Need some Applied Trust schwag to create some stories with?
