Meet Terry Morreale
If you had to think of one word to describe Terry’s daily life, it might be "juggler." Terry is not only a member of the engineering staff at Applied Trust, but she is also the Chair of a local nonprofit organization, Social Venture Partners Boulder County (SVP), and the mother of two kids, ages six and nine.  SVP takes a venture-capital approach to funding nonprofits, contributing both finances and business resources to them in an attempt to improve growth and stability.  Since it was founded in 2000, SVP has invested more than $500,000 in ten Boulder County nonprofit organizations, including the newest investees: Colorado Youth Program and Intercambio de Comunidades.  Terry served as the lead partner with SVP for Boulder Day Nursery for three years, and she has also been on the Executive Committee for the past four years.  "Giving back to the community by working with nonprofit organizations has been important to me my entire life.  I started volunteering well before I could drive; thankfully, my mom was willing to ferry me around!"

Terry enjoys helping SVP develop systems to evaluate nonprofit relationships and help them track their growth in key areas of nonprofit management.  She also enjoys helping SVP partners who are not sure how they can contribute find ways to participate that are comfortable to them.

At the office, Terry juggles her dual roles as client liaison and engineer.  She works with Applied Trust customers to make sure their needs are being met, but she also works directly with customers on both day-to-day technical projects and as a lead incident manager.  Terry’s diverse background supports her multiple responsibilities.  Though she has a B.S. in Computer Science and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), she also has had formal training in mediation and executive coaching.

"Juggling work, SVP, and family is a challenge but, as my dad says, ‘It keeps me out of the saloon.’"
