Applied Trust Engineering‘s Ned McClain gave a presentation on network security at the Video Services Forum (VSF) Meeting Series held October 3 - 5 at the Level 3 Communications headquarters in Broomfield, Colo. The meeting series, hosted by Level 3, included VSF members and other attendees who took part in technical meetings and presentations. Other topics besides network security included IP services over SDI, bit reclamation in VBR-based encoders, and forward error correction and quality of service in IPTV.
"I always enjoy participating in technical conferences such as VSF,” noted McClain. “It was especially rewarding to get to share my network security and performance experience with engineers who are pushing the cutting edge of IP video distribution."
