Linux Administration Handbook, Second Edition, Translated Into Polish
BOULDER, Colo. – [October 29, 2008] – Applied Trust announced today that the second edition of the industry-leading Linux Administration Handbook, co-authored by company co-founders Trent R. Hein and Ned McClain, has been published in Polish.

The Polish edition is the latest of a long list of translated versions of the second edition, which was released in English in October of 2006.

"We are glad that translated versions of the book’s latest edition continue to expand the reach to more IT administrators around the world,” noted Trent R. Hein, one of the authors. "The enduring versatility, affordability, and stability of Linux make it universally appealing, and we are glad to be able to offer a resource for IT administrators worldwide to use in their everyday work," he added.

The Polish edition was published by Wydawnictwa Naukowo-Techniczne in Warsaw with permission from Prentice Hall. Other authors of Linux Administration Handbook include Evi Nemeth and Garth Snyder. Applied Trust senior engineers Ben Whaley and Scott Seidel also contributed to the second edition of the book.

The first edition of Linux Administration Handbook was published in 2002. Unix System Administration Handbook, also co-authored by Hein and McClain, has been translated into at least 16 languages and is considered the "bible" of its field.
